When you have a clogged toilet, you call a plumber. When you have a husband that needs murdering, you call George.
At 16, George inadvertently kills the twin brother of Lazarus, his family’s rival. Wanting to start a new life, he elopes with Kelly, the love of his life.
But when she abandons him, he accepts his family obligations and agrees to an arranged marriage in order to make peace with Lazarus.
Twenty years later, Kelly reappears, saying she loves him, but admitting she hates her husband. He realizes that she might be helping Lazarus set him up for revenge.
But he has to know if he meant something to her or if he was merely a footnote in her life, a tiny asterisk easily mistaken for an errant drop of ink.
