Each year, we publish an anthology of mostly local writers. It is free to submit and there are no fees if you are accepted. Your compensation is a complimentary copy of the paperback version of the anthology, invitation to read at all Mays Publishing events, and promotion of your work through MaysPublishing.com and our social media accounts.
Most of the work from the Corpus Christi Writers series migrates to MaysPublishing.com. We receive brisk traffic on the site. You don't have to be in CCW or from Corpus Christi to be on MaysPublishing.com. We accept work from writers anywhere on the planet. Want a larger audience for your writing? Submit poetry or prose, fiction or non-fiction. We'll include it on MaysPublishing.com and promote it via our social media accounts. Open to writers anywhere in the world. In addition to posting your work, we'll give you a section on our website, which includes links to your website or buy page. We are mostly looking for short poems or flash fiction which can be read in 5 - 15 minutes, but are open to longer pieces and even to serializing novels.
Mays Publishing strives to create a community of writers and readers. Our efforts include maintenance of an online literary magazine featuring the work of writers, artists, and photographers.
It also includes yearly publishing of Corpus Christi Writers. This book showcases fine writing. Most writers are from the Corpus Christi metropolitan area.
Follow us on social media to stay updated with our latest news and promotions. You can also subscribe to our newsletter to receive regular updates and exclusive offers.
